On the Way Home, 8:26 PM Monday.
My wife and son were in a minor car accident today. I’m not sure how much I should say since the insurance adjuster has not looked at it yet. But, my wife was stopped at a red light, behind another vehicle, and she was rear-ended by a young driver.
She and my son are both okay but sore. We have only had the car since March, and it is the first new car she has ever owned. The trunk is buckled in with the same for the bumper. The rear lights are popped out of their frame. The trunk is pushed up and body is closer on one side of the rear door window than the other.
So, I’m kind of bummed. I don’t want to miss a day of posting though nor a day of writing fiction, especially during these easy kaizen days of writing only one sentence.
Otherwise, I have been working on the website. It is still not where I want it but I hope it’s better. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Oops. I was only supposed to write one sentence of fiction. I wrote three.
I did not know what to write. So, I told myself that the character would react to the car arriving. That made the next sentence develop easier. I also went back and replaced a verb in the first sentence to give the car some attitude.
